Silicair Heatless Dryers

Heatless CUB Dryer Range

Silicair CUB dryers continue to be an extremely popular concept for drying small volumes of compressed air, especially for point of use and OEM applications. The current range includes models to provide dewpoints of either -40 or -70°C at various flowrates depending on model size and pressure.

The design allows them to be installed in any orientation and includes mounting bracket etc. They are fully automatic in operation and only require a single phase electric supply.

This product is also available as an emergency in line dryer to protect downstream equipment and have successfully been used in the railway industry for localised drying applications.

Modulair M40X Heatless Dryers

This is a unique concept in compressed air drying – a total air treatment package that provides filtration and drying in one complete package when supplied with the optional integral pre and after filtration. A new range of very modern, compact and very competitively priced packages are available, with a similar concept having been on offer in the previous models for the past 5 years. The new units are available in six models and will handle flow rates up to 254 scfm at 7 bar g pressure.

MM Heatless Dryers

For higher flows, the MM models are available and can be supplied with or without filtration depending on the requirements. These dryers utilise fabricated vessels and are able to be supplied to standard or specified pressure vessel codes with all units being PED compliant or built to specific pressure vessel codes, normally to ASME VIII . The models are again self contained with all controls and are fully automatic in operation and normally controlled by a dedicated PCB. They can also be supplied with any number of optional extras to offer a complete fully contained package and are generally at a lower capital cost than heated dryers. It is important that enough generated compressed air capacity is available to run the dryer and these units are particularly attractive for medium and larger flow rate applications.

Special Build Packages

Silicair Dryers have a wealth of experience in the design and manufacture of special build dryer packages, normally of heatless design, which are generally constructed in line with very specific customer requirements and specifications. The MM heatless dryers and be packaged with filters and control systems etc to provide a complete skid mounted package. In addition, the PC11 heatless version has been used for many years within particular industries. These include both indoor and outdoor installations in the petrochemical industry for use in the UK and extreme overseas applications and these have been supplied to many of the World’s leading operators and contractors.
